"As part of the Community Service Practices course, students from our Vocational School`s Child Care and Youth Services Department carried out "Organizing Temporary Learning Centers" activities in preschool education institutions."

"As part of the Community Service Practices course, under the coordination of Dr. Emire ULUĞ, students from the Child Care and Youth Services Department of Çankırı Karatekin University Eldivan Health Services Vocational School carried out "Temporary Learning Center Organization" activities in preschool education institutions in Çankırı city center between June 8-11, 2026.

Within the scope of the study, students contributed to enriching the educational environments by creating various temporary learning centers in line with the developmental characteristics, interests, and needs of preschool children. The prepared centers included thematic learning areas such as the Time Tunnel Center, Outdoor Orchestra Center, Attention and Perception Center, and Early Literacy Center.

During the implementation process, students created exemplary learning environments that can be used in educational institutions by preparing materials that support children`s exploration, research, problem-solving, creativity, attention, and early literacy skills. Thanks to the organized learning centers, rich educational environments were created that support children`s active participation, stimulate their curiosity, and support their developmental areas.

This study was conducted within the scope of the Community Service Practices course." The aim was to enable students to utilize their professional knowledge and skills in practical settings, contribute to preschool education institutions, and support children in having quality learning experiences. The activity also contributed to strengthening university-community cooperation and improving the physical learning environments of educational institutions.

The Child Care and Youth Services Department of Çankırı Karatekin University Eldivan Health Services Vocational School continues its activities aimed at expanding quality educational environments that support children`s development within the scope of community contribution-oriented studies.
