HISTORY

Our vocational school was initially founded in 1993, on the basis of the protocol which was conducted between The Ministry of Health and Ankara University as; “Çankırı Vocational School of Health Services”. With the establishment of The Çankırı Karatekin University in 2007, our school was handed down to the university.

Later on, our vocational school which was decided to be established in the Eldivan district with the Presidency of the Higher Education Councils’ 28.09.2011 dated decree numbered 6497-41707, started its education life in the 2013-2014 education year by accepting students to its Emergency and First Aid Program. Our school has given its first graduates in the 2014-2015 education year from the aforementioned program.

Students started to be accepted to the Child Development program in 2016-2017, to the Home Patient Care Program in 2017-2018, to the programs of Environmental Health, Opticianry, Medical Laboratory Techniques and Laboratory and Veterinary Health from the education year of 2019-2020. Right now, our school continues its education activities actively with eight programs.

All education are held in the vocational school building which is located in the Eldivan District.

The programs of Emergency and First Aid, Child Development and Home Patient Care are giving both morning (normal) and evening (secondary) education while all of the other programs provide morning education.
