Dear prospective students,

Our college offers education in the four departments and eight programs listed below. Our college`s academic staff consists of seven faculty members and six instructors.

It conducts its administrative activities with one school secretary, one supervisor, three computer operators, and one health technician.

As of August 1, 2025, our college has a total of 808 registered students: 446 in regular education, 160 in evening education, and 582 in active formal education. 226 are inactive.

DEPARTMENT COURSE CURRICULUM

Students at our college can choose up to 36 ECTS credits in the fall and spring semesters of the academic year (up to 42 ECTS credits for students who failed courses from previous semesters), and up to 21 ECTS credits in the summer semesters. In addition to departmental required courses, students can also take elective courses from a pool of departments, faculties, and universities.

Child Care and Youth Services Department

This department only offers the Child Development program.

-The Child Development program is designed to train effective support personnel with sufficient knowledge and skills based on universal science and education in preschool and child development. It includes compulsory courses in child development and general knowledge. In addition to compulsory courses, the curriculum offers students the opportunity to choose courses based on their own preferences. The Child Development Program, through multidisciplinary studies, both individually and in groups, considers the developmental characteristics of children aged 0-6 and trains graduates who are qualified to provide the necessary education and continue their professional development.

Our goal is to train professionals who have internalized the concepts and principles of their field, are grounded in universal science and education in child development and education, are able to integrate theoretical knowledge with practice, fulfill the professional requirements of their profession, create the necessary environments, provide children with holistic developmental training in music, art, drama, and gymnastics, contribute to improving the quality of education and life for children of today, and are practitioners in the field of child development and education. Our goal is to train child development specialists, who are among the most important professions of our time.

Medical Services and Techniques Department

On our campus, this department only offers the First and Emergency Aid and Opticianry program.

-The First and Emergency Aid Program aims to train professionals who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and experience emerging to serve the emergency medical system in our country and globally, who behave in accordance with deontological values, who are able to keep up with developments, and who think modernly and scientifically.

-The Opticianry Program: Our program trains technical personnel who are entrepreneurial and adaptable to contemporary needs, who contribute to the scientific and technical advancement of the optician`s profession, who strive to solve problems encountered in their field, who are grounded in professional ethics, and who observe professional health and safety precautions. We contribute to the development of a qualified workforce at the level and type our country needs, particularly to address the need for intermediate staff. Our department includes a Home Patient Care Program and an Elderly Care Program.

- Home Patient Care Program; Our goal is to cultivate qualified individuals who are up-to-date with today`s healthcare system and technology, possess the professional knowledge and skills required for home patient care, recognize situations requiring home care and offer and guide solutions, feel responsible for the protection and improvement of health towards the individual they care for and their social environment, provide home care services in accordance with patient and employee rights, adhere to Atatürk`s principles, and are able to work within a team.

Our goal is to be a leading and preferred institution in the health education sector, providing education in accordance with national and international educational quality standards, collaborating with other healthcare institutions and assuming a pioneering scientific role in scientific terms, taking responsibility for protecting public health, raising awareness in health protection and development, and engaging in research and scientific vocational training.

-The Elderly Care Program aims to train professionals who can provide qualified and professional care to the ever-increasing elderly population in our country. The program aims to develop human resources who are knowledgeable about the fundamental principles, processes, and management of institutions providing elder care services, who communicate effectively with elders, who can improve their quality of life, and who have internalized the necessary knowledge, skills, and values regarding elder care services.
